Immerse yourself in the space where reality and fiction intertwine in “Masquerade,” an intra-active, contemporary, operatic dance performance set to electronic symphonic music, sung live by soprano Sage DeAgro-Ruopp. A fan-favorite of seasons past, this internationally acclaimed, Philadelphia-based troupe artfully finds the line between beauty and innovation — then boldly dances on it — and this truly unique theatrical work is no exception, creating a world where truth belongs to the imagination of the beholder.

Koresh Dance Company, one of Philadelphia’s premier contemporary dance companies, recognized nationally and internationally for superb technique and emotionally compelling appeal presents Hollow Apple (2024). This evening-length work is inspired by the endless desire to be liked, and loved by strangers, only to reveal our fears of unworthiness. Choreographed by Artistic Director, Roni Koresh, with original composition by Sage DeAgro-Ruopp and poetry by Karl Mullen.
Koresh Dance Company performs in the Dominican Republic at Sala Máximo Avilés Blonda, Palacio de Bellas Artes. There will be two performances: Thursday October 3 at 8:00pm and Friday October 4 at 8:00pm. Tickets can be bought on site prior to the performance or at the door.
